After Thanksgiving Sale

Hayville: While it is traditional for retail stores to have an after Thanksgiving Day sale referred to as Black Friday, Hayville, however, has no retail stores. After  much debate and discussion, the Hayville Town Council has agreed to observe the day with a cut-rate disposal program for Turkey Remains.

Burnt Friday kicks off with a collection of all turkey remains at the Pork Palace and after removing all salvageable parts, the rest will be delivered to the Hayville Crematorium for proper disposal. All salvageable parts will be used for the Annual Pre-Christmas Dinner for the Poor.

This year, all remains will be inspected for non-turkey parts since last year the FBI Forensic Lab held up the remains for investigation until after the New Years Garbage Soup Bash. "The hundred and seventy-five pounds of turkey remains should have been a clue, but Joe is so trusting he never thought to questioned it," Willie Said.

The Town Council was going to paint the town black, but most of the town is already painted black, so the motion was defeated,
